Free internet advertising, free ads, free classified ads, free internet advertising, free web site advertising Does it ever end?

Do you remember when the Internet was a simple place? When all you wanted was to look up information for your book report on penguins? Those who figured out how to make money online back then are now the digital Bill Gates and Donald Trump. Now a days, there are about as many ways to make money online as there are websites. Some valid, but most are not. This makes it all that more difficult for any newcomers, but being as there are thousands of valid ways of making good money on the internet, if one can master the art of advertising (TRAFFIC) they are sure to succeed if they have the ‘stick-to-it-ive-ness’ it takes.

It’s too bad that most folks get lost before they get a good foot hold into what truly could be there “golden ticket”. It is way too easy to get distracted any more, and what used to work doesn’t any more. For example, FFA pages, classified ad sites, and blasters used to work well. Now they are synonymous with spam. UNLESS you are the owner of these sites collecting email addresses and using them as lead generators. If done right, owning a FFA page will deliver hundreds of email addresses of people looking for free advertising ( newbies ) where you can send a single email asking permission to stay in contact through emails in an effort to help them.

For the most part though, free online advertising has changed very little compared to the rest of the net. It has evolved and gotten better. Look back over the past few years and what do you see? The domination of Adsense and Adwords, blogs, everything WEB 2.0 (MySpace, Utube, Squidoo, Yahoo Answers, etc…), article marketing. All of which are rated the best when it comes to effective advertising.

On the bottom of this page is the “Encyclopedia of Free Online Advertising” that every online marketer should have! Not only does this second edition break down every advertising option into effectiveness, quality, and time… it include WEB 2.0 options. Not to mention over $1000 in PPC credits given away by the various search engines.

All in all, it boils down to – learn what works. But what works for you may not work for me. I enjoy building my opt-in lists, email marketing and setting up automated advertising systems. You may enjoy all the social networking sites and have time to monitor a blog or forum. These are all at the top of the free advertising list but everyone needs to pick one (or two) forms of advertising and do it better then anyone else.
